Sandway House

Breakfast had loads of choice, was beautifully presented, and we enjoyed it in a lovely breakfast room. Our room had everything we needed and was spotless. Sandway house Torquay is beautifully decorated throughout, with thoughtful touches, and the whole guest house was spotlessly clean. Peter and Tracey are wonderful hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. We’ve just returned from a lovely stay.

I rarely write reviews, but Sandway House deserves one. I travelled solo and Pete and Tracey were lovely from the moment I arrived, friendly and keen to help me feel welcome. The place is beautifully decorated and, as someone very particular about cleanliness, I can say it was absolutely spotless. There were thoughtful touches like flowers and homemade treats. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of lovely ingredients and options, all cooked to perfection. I stayed over Easter and highly recommend it.

The homemade brownies for our journey home were a lovely surprise, and parking behind the property was handy. Sandway House is also in a great location. Pete and Tracy were friendly, welcoming and very helpful hosts. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Breakfast was amazing: we had a full English one morning, then chose from the other options the next. My cinnamon toast with bacon and maple syrup was a wow. We'd definitely stay again if we return to Torquay.

Breakfast was delicious each morning, and Tracey and Pete had great local suggestions, from hidden gems in Torquay to nearby attractions. They were always happy to chat or help us plan our days. The house is close to the beach and local amenities, yet in a peaceful neighborhood. Our accommodation was fabulous, spotless, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic stay at Sandway House in Torquay and can't wait to return.
