Jayne was a good host, and I appreciated her hospitality. The place is clean, though it feels dated and could do with updating. Our rooms were small, with hardly any room to store our things. My bed and pillows were comfortable. The room for my kids had little light in one corner of the dormer, and there wasn't enough ventilation. It was nothing like the room I'd seen at the last minute on the .com website.

The beach is about a five-minute walk away, with a pleasant stroll along the seafront to the shops. Jane and the owner were welcoming and provided brilliant service throughout. Jane was always around if we needed fresh towels or anything else. We worried at first about coping with the heatwave in our room, but it had a large fan and a mini fridge.

We come for a few days each May, and the staff always do everything they can to make us comfortable. The place is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. We can't fault it, and we're grateful for how well we're looked after every time. Highly recommended, perfect for us.

Breakfast was lovely, and the hosts were attentive throughout. We got a warm welcome and had a well-furnished family room with comfortable beds. The room and bathroom were spotless. Later that night, I realised the pillows were feather ones and they set off my asthma. My partner told the hosts, who changed them straight away and apologised. I felt bad for not noticing sooner, since we'd been out all day.

The hosts were polite and so helpful, and breakfast was amazing. Our room was beautiful and clean, with thoughtful extras like a hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, a fridge and bottled water. It made our overnight stay wonderful. Thanks so much, we'll definitely come back.
