Gerry and Susan were an energetic young couple, nowhere near ready for retirement 🥰. Their place felt like home, and they were flexible about whatever we needed. The rooms were neat, clean and well maintained, and Gerry was lovely with all the guests and prompt with requests. I'd highly recommend it to families looking for a homely stay.

This was my second stay, and I definitely plan to come again. Gerry and Susan are the loveliest, friendliest hosts I've met. The rooms are very good, breakfast is marvellous, and you get everything you need and more. It's also a perfect base for exploring all the interesting places in South Devon.

Gerry gave us a great welcome, and we had a wonderfully relaxed stay in Torquay. The area was quiet, with everything we needed close by, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast set us up for the day, especially the kippers. We'll go again.

Breakfast was great, and the owners were lovely, always ready to help. Everything was spotless, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. We were on the very top floor, which was a struggle with our dodgy knees, but we'd happily visit again.

Gerry and Sue are absolute gems. They looked after us so well that they even sent us home with a free picnic and picnic box. My partner and I have never stayed at a better guest house, and we won't go anywhere else. If you're in torquay, don't miss this place.
