Parking was tricky, though David went out of his way to show us where we could leave the car. We were in Torquay to perform locally, and David and Maureen were delightful hosts who made a real effort to be friendly and hospitable. Our room was just as described, a small double with an en suite. It was comfortable, adequate, and very clean, with nice bedding. Breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. We had a very pleasant stay and will return.

There’s a licensed bar on site, so we could have a quiet drink in the evening without heading out. The beach and harbour are only a few minutes away on foot, with plenty to see and do nearby. The hosts were warm and friendly. Breakfast was cooked each morning, and you could also choose toast or cereal if a cooked meal wasn’t for you. It’s well worth trying. A comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

We stayed for a week in July and found the price excellent for what we needed. Our room had an en suite and suited us well, and there was a parking space for our car behind the hotel for the whole visit. The beach is about five minutes away, with the town centre and harbour not much farther. The welcome and service were excellent, and we’d happily recommend the Beverley.

The people were so friendly and helpful that I’d go back, hopefully they’ll have WiFi next time. There isn’t much parking at the hotel, though there’s plenty of on-street parking. The rooms are a little small, there are lots of stairs, and there’s no WiFi. On the plus side, it was very clean, breakfast was lovely, and checkout was at 11am.

The hotel was immaculately clean, and they served a good English breakfast. It’s also very close to Torquay’s beautiful bay.
