We had a great stay and thought it was good value. The rooms were spacious and clean, with large beds and good facilities, and the staff were friendly, especially Tim, who was welcoming and chatty. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty to choose from. The place had good social distancing measures. It's a short walk, around 5-10 minutes, to Torquay centre and the seafront, with lots to do nearby. The outdoor pool was cold, so we didn't use it much, and the wifi didn't work in our room.

The host was lovely, and even offered us a full English breakfast when we arrived early on check-in day. The location was excellent for walking into town or down to the harbour. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it. We'll be back.

The owners were friendly, helpful and knew the area well. Our room was very comfortable. The train station is just four minutes away, and the seafront and bus services are also close by. If you enjoy walking, it's a pleasant stroll into Torquay.

We stayed one night to mark our 20th wedding anniversary, and left this morning very happy with the place. Tim was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, and the shower was nice and hot. I also enjoyed using the pool. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, different breads for toast and a full English with black pudding. It's a lovely, quiet spot and we'd definitely stay again. Thank you!

We've stayed here three times now, and we'll be back again. The hosts are so welcoming, the beds are comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Our room was lovely and very clean, with nice views, and it's an easy walk to the seafront. They even lent me a laptop charger so I could finish my work on time.
