The cabin is tucked away in a gorgeous, peaceful spot, and it’s a great place for visiting different parts of Cornwall. I loved waking up to the birds. The accommodation had everything you’d expect, and the log-fired hot tub was pure bliss, whether we got in during the day or at night. We could just soak and watch the world go by. The massage we booked from the host was amazing too. Can’t wait to come back.

The outdoor photos give the wrong impression. The table and chairs were rusty and uncomfortable, the picnic bench was shabby, and the loungers had no cushions. There wasn’t anywhere suitable to hang towels or enough bathroom storage and shelving, and the toilet seat was loose. We were given just one toilet roll for a four-day stay. The stone steps from the car park were slippery when wet. There was no lighting from the car park or back garden to get to the hot tub, and there were no instructions explaining how to use it or how often the water was changed. Very disappointing stay!

We’re staying in the studio apartment. It’s cosy, though a bit cold, but the owners soon sorted that out. A lovely-sounding, peaceful getaway. I had an amazing, really relaxing massage from sari, highly recommend the service.

St Agnes is lovely, with lots of good pubs and attractions nearby. The cottage has good facilities, including decent internet so we could use the TV options. There are quite a lot of steps outside and inside. A damp problem in a downstairs room spoiled things for us because we hate the smell, and the hot tub wasn’t in use until the end of our holiday.
