Breakfast was just right before I headed out for a 10km trek, and having tea, biscuits, and a kettle in the room was a lovely touch. The room itself was perfect, and Lakes End is handily placed for both Windermere and Ulverston. I was very pleased with my stay. Thank you!

The hosts were friendly, and the location was good. I slept comfortably, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. Even the kettle was free of scale, which I rarely find elsewhere. A lovely guest house I’d recommend to anyone.

Our host was such a gem and made sure we were comfortable, even bringing us a nice breakfast in the morning. It’s a lovely place to unwind, centrally located and close to the main lakes and local attractions. We had a great stay, with the northern lights through the bedroom window as an extra highlight.

We had a fantastic couple of days at Lakes End Guest House. The owners were warm and hospitable, and you can tell they take pride in the service. Booking through checkout went smoothly, the rooms had plenty of space, and the bathrooms were modern. Onsite parking was handy, and the location worked really well as a base around Lake Windermere. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Lakes.

A lovely little selection of tea, biscuits and coffee in the room, and the rooms were spotless and beautifully presented. This gorgeous B&B is in a beautiful setting just off lake Windermere. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the Lakes!
