Warkworth is a lovely village and a good base for visiting the many places along the Northumberland Coast. We've been staying at Fairfield House for nearly 20 years, drawn back by its beautiful setting and the rooms, which are all decorated with great care. The whole house has a lovely bygone-days feel. Mandy is a wonderful hostess who clearly enjoys welcoming back her many returning guests. After staying here, I can see why people keep coming back, and I'm sure new guests will want to return too. 😊

Mandy has made Fairfield a comfortable, welcoming little oasis, and the breakfasts were remarkable. We've stayed in plenty of B&Bs around the UK, and this is easily the finest one we've found.

Amanda and Kevin made us feel at home throughout our couple of nights here in April 2024. The house sits in a fantastic location, and it was an ideal base for an inspiration trip where I could make more colourful paintings. We loved relaxing in the beautiful gardens, and the homemade cakes were a lovely extra. Our room was cosy and warm, especially the bathroom's underfloor heating. There was a good choice of breakfast, and everything we tried was delicious. I can happily recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Northumberland.

We stumbled on Fairfield House by chance this past summer and were amazed by it. The house and gardens are stunning, with quality and attention to detail everywhere. Our spacious bedroom was immaculate, with comfortable armchairs and all the trimmings. There were freshly baked treats each day, and breakfast was superb and tailored to what we wanted. Mandy was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. A real gem. Keep it up. Ashley & Kathleen
