The Old Post Office by Deuce Hotels

Check-in went smoothly, and the communication was excellent the whole time. We felt well looked after. The studio was spotless and thoughtfully put together, with everything we needed for a comfortable, restful break. It was also well placed: peaceful, but close to the places we wanted to explore. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back. A stylish, welcoming boutique place.

We had such a lovely stay! The Daresbury Suite was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a short visit. The hotel’s in a great spot, with lots of parking and the bars and shops close by.

This was my second stay, both times for concerts at Parr Hall. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and the location is great. The only downside is having to enter the code so many times between the front door and your room.

The stairs were a real worry when we arrived. I hadn’t realised there was no lift, and my sister and I both have disabilities. I managed to get up to the room because I was too tired to find somewhere else, and I’m glad I stayed. The staff were so kind and understanding while I was upset about the lift. I’d never been to a hotel without reception before, but everything worked out flawlessly. The room was spacious, with a kitchen area that had a cooktop, microwave, dishes, fridge and freezer. There was plenty of storage, and I loved the rain shower and bathroom radiator that warmed my towels. The dishes were high up for my 5'2" height, and I found the closet a little hard to use for hanging clothes. Besides the lack of a lift, those were my only issues. It’s right in the town centre, within walking distance of Golden Square Mall, Warrington Town Hall and lots of places to eat. I used Uber to get food for the room. Lisa and her husband Danny were a huge help to me and my sister. I’ve been seriously disappointed by several hotels in England, but this place really got it right. I’ll stay here again when I come back to England to see my family. If you can manage the stairs, it’s a must for a leisure or work trip. I’m upfront in my reviews and say how I feel, and I can’t see you being disappointed.
