Travelodge

Room 3 was spacious and really clean, and we had a comfortable stay at Travelodge lowton for all 10 nights from 22/1/26. Debbie, the manager, was so helpful and polite with everyone. We’ll be back, though we’ll miss our morning chats with her. Elaine, Peter and Poppet the dog had a lovely time.

The nights were quiet, so I slept well, and there was plenty nearby: a pub next door, a handy shop and garage across the road, plus other pubs and a takeaway. I was here for two weeks for work and everything was good. There’s good off-road parking too. A very good stay.

The receptionist greeted us warmly, and the room was reasonably quiet, though we could hear people walking over the floorboards outside. The car park is small, and retail parks are not far away. Inside, the bed, cups and kettle were clean, and the room was okay overall, but it did smell, so I bought some febreze. There was no hair dryer, but luckily we’d brought one. I didn’t mind that there was no iron. The TV was small, and I can’t say how the WiFi was since I used my own data. For the price, you get what you pay for.

Such a lovely find among the Travelodge hotels, with really friendly staff and a peaceful location. The one letdown was the disabled parking: there were only two bays, and cars without blue badges were parked in them. Nobody seemed to police it.
