Finding the cottages took a little figuring out at first, but once we spotted them it was easy. The location worked well for us, about ten minutes on foot to the High Street. Julie gave us a lovely welcome, and our twin room at the back stayed quiet at night, even with the window open in the warm weather. Breakfast had fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and more, just right to start the day. We stayed for a few days and would happily have stayed longer.

We were glad to have a quiet room after our overseas flights. No.26 was at the back of the house, and although there might be some weekday noise from temporary construction nearby, evenings and nights were completely silent. Julie welcomed us at the door and had everything ready so we could get straight to an afternoon nap. Breakfast choices were in the room, along with a small fridge, a kettle and plenty of drinks. It was easy to find, and parking was great. The tourist centre is a 15-minute walk away, or you can drive to one of the city car parks. We were very happy with our stay and would come back.
