Burns Yard is a passageway that doesn't look particularly appealing, but the apartment itself was very nice. We had a lovely few days there. It was clean and comfortable, with Sky TV, a dishwasher, cooker and more. Parking in Whitby is generally a challenge, though it's easier out of season.

The view is amazing, and you're close to the major shops and pubs, but I wouldn't stay again unless the place was updated. The bedroom needs improvement: there's no dressing table or drawers, no proper wardrobe for hanging clothes, and no TV. The stairs could be a problem if you have leg issues. The upstairs sofa also needs to be pulled out and replaced with something larger.

The pictures say it all. I won't be coming back to this not-so-luxurious apartment by host and stay.
