Horse & Groom B&B

A lovely traditional pub with friendly staff, good facilities, nice rooms and a good restaurant. The breakfast is top notch and great value when included in the room price. Just be aware that you have to cross the street to reach the rooms if anyone in your party has limited mobility.

The room was a good size, comfortable, and the whole property was very clean. Staff were friendly, and it's a nice, quiet location. Food was the weak point: breakfast, coffee included, was below average and needs a lot of improvement in taste. The fish and chips we had the night before were a letdown as well. Our room ran a bit warm, and the table fan didn't do much.

We really enjoyed the pub meals: two breakfasts, steak for dinner, and a Sunday roast that was very good indeed. The food was delicious across the board. Our accommodation was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with a particularly excellent bathtub and plenty of hot water. It's a lovely pub and B&B with a great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and did everything they could to make us feel welcome and looked after. We'd recommend staying. Thank you!

We've stayed here several times in our campervan, parked overnight at this Britstops location. It's convenient for us, quiet and friendly, and the pub serves a lovely meal as an added bonus. After a busy day driving, the warm welcome, attentive staff, pub grub and a drink are very welcome. Thanks, we'll visit again!
