Watermark Apartments

We used the secure car park and walked into Whitby from the apartment, which made a great base for exploring on foot. It was quiet too, apart from the lovely sight and sound of the steam train passing by the window. The view is magnificent, and we spent more time enjoying it than watching TV. Inside, the apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated. We stayed for about four days a few weeks ago, and the bottle of wine waiting for us was very welcome after the long journey. I loved Whitby and would highly recommend the place.

Watching the harbour boats and steam train pass, with the town and the abbey and church on the headland behind them, was breathtaking at any time of day. The apartment was a wonderful surprise over Easter, modernised and very well kept. The beds and chairs were comfy, and there were TVs in each room, including a huge one in the living room. It's Freeview only, but that's plenty. The bathroom was spotless and well maintained, and the heated floor made me want one at home. There's secure designated parking under the building. The only downside was having to leave after staying here with my family 😂

The view and flat were unbelievable, and the host was so accommodating. We only stayed one night, but there were still lots of little treats waiting for us. Thanks, we'd stay again without hesitation.

Everything was spotless and set up with what you need for a short break or holiday, and I couldn't fault the place. We went for a weekend at the beginning of December for my birthday, and the views were beautiful. It's only a short walk to the centre. One of the best places I've stayed, and I'll certainly return.
