Those farm views were amazing, and there are loads of walks nearby. We had a lovely room that was clean, with a really comfortable bed. The friendly couple made us feel welcome, and breakfast was gorgeous. Just right for a weekend away. We’d definitely recommend it and plan to come back. Thanks, Sarah, from Russ and Annmarie.

The owners were so welcoming and did everything they could to make me feel at home. I was there for work and wished I’d had more time to stay for leisure. It’s a working farm in a beautiful rural spot. Breakfast was really nice, and the room and bathroom facilities were clean, tidy and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. I’d highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hostess made us feel at home and gave us useful tips for dinner spots and nature walks. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with great views, and breakfast was a proper English one. A perfect countryside retreat.

Sarah and Peter put in so much effort to help you make the most of your stay. The views are lovely, with lots of great places to visit nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable and had all we needed, and Sarah is a wonderful cook. A great place to stay.

The room was comfy and really clean, and the people running the place were lovely. There are friendly dogs around too. If you like walking, it’s ideal. Allendale is a stunning walk of a bit over an hour, though it’s very hilly. Breakfast was very nice as well.
