Jerry and Margaret made my Great North run stay really welcoming. It was my first time in the North East and doing the run, and Jerry gave me loads of useful information. He arranged a taxi transfer and left some goodies in my room for after the run. The amenities were good and breakfast was smashing. I'd recommend it and stay at the Lighthouse again.

I was travelling alone to visit some mates I served with in the RN, and would certainly recommend this guest house to anyone coming to the north east. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, breakfast good, and hosts Jerry and Margaret were really friendly. It's close to both the sea front and town centre.

Jerry and Margaret are good people and such lovely hosts, ready to do anything for you. The place is in an idyllic spot right beside the beach. I'd 100% stay again.

Jerry and Margaret work hard to look after this multi award winning establishment and are great hosts. It's ideally placed for the sea front, town centre and local attractions. Best B&B in the North East.

Five stars, no question. The cooked breakfast was lush and full, and Gerry and Margate made the stay lovely. I'll definitely be back at this very clean, fully equipped Guest House.
