The only drawback for me was the shared bathroom along the hallway. That’s fine when the hotel is quiet, but can feel a bit daunting when it’s busy. The rooms were clean and more than big enough for two people, and the freshly made breakfast was piping hot. It’s a really nice family run hotel. The husband and wife team are so friendly, and I couldn’t have been made more welcome. Would I stay again? Most definitely. Very good value for money.
Handy for the beach front, with helpful staff, a nice breakfast, and a very nice spot. We just didn’t get the weather this time.
I used to visit The Esplanade in the late 70s and 80s. It was a great place then, and hopefully it’s still the same, because the folk are brilliant!
