I stayed just one night after going to an event here with friends. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful, and did a great job looking after a large group. The food was good. My room was basic but clean, had everything I needed and a comfy bed. The Dolphin will be my first choice for future trips to Wincanton.

Dog friendly, with a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. I stayed for one night and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was lovely and clean, with a good-sized bathroom.

We visit Wincanton every year to meet up with friends, though we didn’t stay at the hotel. The new management and staff made us feel so welcome and joined in, and the weekend went so smoothly it was over too soon. They stayed professional throughout and showed respect to everyone. A massive thank you. We look forward to coming back. ❤️

We booked two rooms for a weekend at Longleat. The rooms and food were really nice, and the cuddly toys and blankets left on the beds for our kids were a lovely touch. There was a decent selection on tap at the bar too. You do have to breathe in a bit to get through the arch into the car park.
