Breakfast was cooked to order, with a great variety to choose from, plus cereals, porridge, and a very tasty overnight yoghurt and granola. We also enjoyed the lounge bar, which was well stocked and had a good range of fun cocktails. After a warm welcome and straightforward check-in, we found our room clean, bright, and comfortable. I especially loved the window seat. We spent the evening relaxing in the garden and listening to the birds. A lovely sat, and we'd happily return.

The staff were amazing and friendly, and it was lovely that the barman remembered exactly how I like my drink. Breakfast is well worth booking, and we also had dinner on the first night. Vegan options were a little scarce, but just ask the staff and they'll accommodate. Be sure to try the fresh scones and tea!

We had the whole place to ourselves, which made the visit feel even more special. The team were warm and attentive, and everything seemed carefully thought through. The food was delicious, and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. A lovely treat and a great place for a quiet catch-up. We’ll be back soon.

I really liked the decor and the feel of the building, and the hotel is nicely located with good parking. Reception staff were very nice, though the bar staff made us feel like a bit of a nuisance. Breakfast was poor, with no hash browns and bread instead of toast. They refunded it, so that was fair. Disabled parking didn’t seem to be enforced.

We came with friends for a reunion and a 70th birthday, and the rooms and food were to a very high standard. The welcome was friendly, and the hotel and staff gave us a warm feeling throughout. We all enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.
