Lyndale Apartment

The studio is compact, as other reviews say, but it has everything you need. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had enough space to cook in (we didn’t), and the shower was nice. We stayed three nights with two adults and a dog at mysty. It’s tucked away from the high street, so it was quiet. Windemere winds down around 11, with everyone worn out from walking and such 😁. It certainly wasn’t overpriced. I suspect booking direct with the hosts would benefit both you and them. I have no complaints and would gladly return. If you’re new to the Lakes, pack wet weather gear, as it can be rainy later in the year. And if you’re bringing dogs, you may be surprised how many businesses welcome them, wet or dry! Enjoy 👍

The rooms were cosy and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped, so we could cook our own meals. Sainsbury’s is a 4 minute walk away, and Booths by the train station is 5 minutes on foot. For the location and size, the value is unbeatable. It’s a comfortable place with easy public transport access to all parts of the Lakes.

I’ve been returning to the lovely Mysty every October for many years with my Cocker Spaniel, Hattie. It’s always welcoming, clean, and cosy, and has become a home from home for both of us. It’s perfectly set up for a solo traveller, with or without a dog, or for a couple on a short break or weekend away. We always look forward to visiting the beautiful Lake District, and October is a great time to go.

We had a lovely three night stay at misty view. It’s cosy and comfortable, with everything you need in a compact space. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of Windermere. There are good pubs nearby if you fancy a cocktail 🍸, and TOAST, a lovely café at the end of the lane, serves great food 😀.
