The Boundary

We stayed at the beginning of May, and the house was beautiful, light and airy. There were no issues with the appliances or the super fast fibre optic broadband. After reading the two poor reviews, I can say without hesitation that they don't represent our experience. We'll definitely stay again. One tip: after speaking with the lovely owner Steve, it's worth booking direct for slightly cheaper rates and five star service. Thanks for a great week! Lynne & friends.

The cricket theme is such a fun touch, right down to the room keys attached to a cricket ball keychain. Steve and Joe were lovely. The rooms feel elegant, with a modern bathroom, shower, a great bath, neon lighting and heated floors. A lovely spot for a romantic break.

The house has a lovely cosy, lived-in feel, and the location is ideal. Off-street parking was a real help. Just be aware that the kitchen diner, TV room and courtyard garden are reached by narrow stairs, so it may be tricky if stairs are difficult for you.

The huge kitchen diner worked brilliantly for our group, with a big table and a massive island for preparing food. There was also a snug off the kitchen where the kids could watch TV and play games. Downstairs, the lounge felt spacious but cosy, with four sofas and a lovely log burner. Every bed was gorgeously comfortable, and all but one was en suite. Two rooms had roll-top baths in them. We spent a long weekend here with friends for my 40th birthday and have just got home. The place itself has loads of space, beautiful decor and a perfect location. On arrival, we found a lovely hamper with wine, tea, coffee, cake, bread, jam and marmalade, plus butter and milk in the fridge. Thanks to the owner and Lake Lovers for making booking so easy. It was a great place for time with friends and really family friendly.
