Windermere Boutique Hotel

From beginning to end, we had a lovely stay. The room was wonderful and breakfast was fantastic, but the best part of the trip was the massage therapist, Penny Irvine. She came right to our room, was really friendly, and took the time to explain the process. My wife and I both thought it was the best massage we've ever had. Highly recommended!

The massage was one of the best we've had, and we made good use of the sauna in our room. The room itself really impressed us, and the owners and staff were so helpful. Dinner was excellent, especially the perfectly cooked fillet steak, and breakfast was tasty and filling too. We came for an early January couples treat and will definitely be back. We wouldn't choose anywhere else when visiting Windermere.

Lauren made everything easy from the first enquiry through to our stay, with a welcome drink, fresh tea and coffee in the room, and suggestions for dinner. The Wild Boar was a great recommendation. She couldn't have been more helpful, and she's a real asset to the hotel. Our 'Windermere Love' suite had a steam room and cinema room, plus thoughtful little extras throughout. It was stylish and luxurious, with a comfortable bed, strong water pressure and Moulton Brown toiletries. The hot tub was spotless, and we appreciated that it was cleaned between stays. Breakfast was superb, with quality local ingredients and attentive service. A winter walk around Windermere followed by a soak was a real treat. This hotel has spoiled me for others. Can't wait to return.

The location is lovely and scenic, right between Windermere and Bowness, both about a 10-minute walk away. My partner and I stayed last week and would absolutely recommend it. The staff were kind and wonderful, our room felt cosy and worth the price, and the fresh food was beautiful. All the meat was good quality and cooked just right.
