The Coppice Guest House

Beverly and Neil were friendly and professional, and gave us useful information both before and during our stay. We stayed in a room in the Annex and would like to try the other rooms next time. Breakfast was delicious, with the best mushrooms I've had, and there were vegan and vegetarian options. I liked that we chose our meals the night before and they were made fresh in the morning. Hopefully, that also helps cut down on food waste. Now that we've found them, I'd book direct next time instead of through Booking.com :)

We got back from two lovely nights at this beautiful guest house. Everything was spotlessly clean and breakfast was delicious, made fresh to order. We arrived to a warm welcome from Beverly, who was enthusiastic and explained everything we needed to know. She even gave us useful maps and directions for sightseeing in Windermere. The rooms were very clean and had everything you'd need, and for the price it feels like a steal. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel, with plenty on offer and great quality and presentation. The Coppice is well placed for Windermere town, with Bowness a short walk away and buses available too. You can tell it's a labour of love for the owners, and that care comes through in the service. We'd book at the Coppice again if we return.
