The Governance Apartments

The apartment feels like a home away from home, with everything we needed, cosy furnishings and thoughtful touches. It’s spotless, bright and comfortable, and the quirky, stylish decor gives it lots of character. The building is quiet and secure, and check-in was easy. Shops, cafés and restaurants are just a short walk away, right in the heart of everything. This was our second stay in the building, and it was just as wonderful as the first. We love staying here and will definitely return. Highly recommend it for a distinctive, comfortable stay in a perfect location.

The bed was super comfy, and the towels were lovely and fluffy. The apartment is very close to Windermere centre, clean, nicely decorated and styled. The cooker, fridge and TVs are new and top of the range, with all their instructions helpfully in one place online. I’d book again.

The owner communicated really well before, during and after my two-night stay. I was nearby catching up with old friends, and found the location handy for local amenities, nightlife and getting to the Lakes. I enjoyed the politics-themed decor throughout the apartment and building. Recommended.

The apartment was beautifully appointed, and the location was fantastic. My cousin was visiting from the USA, so we stayed at The Governance as a treat. We love Windermere, and the stay exceeded our expectations. I initially missed the driveway, but a quick call to the proprietors got us there easily. They were on hand whenever we needed anything, and even suggested a fantastic local restaurant, which was just right after a long walk. It was a luxurious, relaxing stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the memorable visit.
