Heswall was only about a 6 minute drive away, with some lovely restaurants, and we also had a good meal at The Fox & Hounds in Barnston. We had a great time. The house was lovely and clean, with ample parking, though the road was busy. Inside, it felt luxurious and had lots of thoughtful details, including plenty of coffee, soap and toilet rolls. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of good quality towels. The raised garden had countryside views. The downside was that the house felt dark and dingy.

We found parking tricky because the road is busy, but there’s a church car park next door where you can park. The place itself was comfortable and clean.

For what the surroundings are like, the price doesn't really seem to fit.

Inside, it’s very modern, and the house is lovely. It’s in a quiet village too.

Really good. The back entrance is a bit awkward.
