The only real downsides were that my single bed was very soft and didn't offer much support, and that with 15 girls we ran out of the single spare toilet roll in each bathroom and the small supply of dishwasher tablets. We had to buy more. Leaving a few extra of each wouldn't cost much. We also had a slight mix-up over our early check-in because the cleaners hadn't been told, but it was quickly sorted. We could leave our food delivery in the games room and fridge, and the later 12 checkout was helpful. Apart from that, we had an excellent three-night long weekend and all 15 of us had fun. The property and gardens are beautiful, and we were lucky with the weather. There was plenty of room for sitting indoors, plus a large dining table with a hatch through to the kitchen, and outdoor chairs with cushions. The games room was a bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped, with three large fridges, freezer space, an aga, an electric aga, an electric oven, an induction hob, two dishwashers, and plenty of crockery and glassware. There are lots of ways to cook, though the aga can be tricky if you've never used one before. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The place was very nice, clean and tidy, but the top floor had squeaky floorboards throughout. There were no clothes hangers behind the room doors or shelves in the cupboard for clothes. The shower upstairs had low water pressure, and the bed was uncomfortable.
