Premier Inn Wolverhampton North

I stayed four nights for work and slept really well despite the main roads nearby. The room was spotless, and the usual Premier Inn standard was there, although I didn't have USB charging by the bed. All the staff were friendly and professional, and the evening meals and breakfasts were brilliant. One small gripe: I tried checking in at 14:55 and was told I had to wait until exactly 15:00 or be charged a £15 early check-in fee. Other Premier Inns haven't made me do that, so I felt a bit daft standing in reception for five minutes. Great Premier Inn with a Beefeater attached.

For work trips, it's a handy place to sleep, though I wouldn't call it a destination. The location is very good, right by several motorways and A roads, and I'd stay again when working away. The room was clean enough, but felt dated and sparse. The bathroom was nice, the bed comfortable, and the TV was okay with the usual limited content. The attached Beefeater was pleasant, with a good menu, helpful staff and well-cooked food that arrived without a long wait. All in all, it suits what the hotel seems to be aiming for.

I've stayed in plenty of Premier Inns, and this one was better than I expected. The room was clean and well kept, and staff were polite and helpful. There's a good-sized car park with easy access from the motorway and A roads, and it's convenient for getting into Wolverhampton or elsewhere. The on-site Beefeater restaurant is open, unlike at many others, and there are more places to eat within walking distance.

The food was amazing, and the service felt welcoming, pleasant and well presented. Our room was spacious and very clean, and we had a really comfortable night's sleep. The whole stay was brilliant, thank you.
