Prue looked after me so well, and even upgraded me to a double room, which was lovely. What a find this B&B is. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was so good it set me up for the day, maybe until tea time! Thank you.

We stayed twice, on the way to Scotland and again on the return, and had a lovely time both visits. Prue was friendly and accommodating, and Elsie, our little dog, loved playing with the squeaky ball on the lawn. The rooms were really comfortable and spotless, with all the amenities. Breakfast was first class: lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal before the Full English, and superb vegetarian choices too. Thanks, we'd definitely recommend staying here.

Prue made us all feel welcome and was a fantastic host. The old guest house has lovely gardens, and it's very dog friendly, with some nice walks nearby that are easy to reach. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with nice beds, and breakfast was very good. We'd happily return and highly recommend it.

As a solo motorbike traveller, I stayed for one night and got a fantastic welcome. They took me straight into the garage so I could park the bike. The guest house was spotless, welcoming and surrounded by beautiful grounds. My room had everything I needed, including a private bathroom. There's a pub across the road for dinner and a drink, and ordering breakfast the night before, including the time, is a great idea. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. I'll be back. And if you want to park in the garage, arrive swiftly 😉🏍️
