Susie's raspberry jam, homemade granola and range of compotes at breakfast were delicious. The gardens were lovely, with beautiful sunsets, and the countryside views were stunning. We had a great time at the Wooden Cabbage, where hosts Susie and Martyn were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all the essentials. There are plenty of things to see and do nearby, including some great restaurants. We'll definitely return.

Breakfast was a feast, and everything was homemade and delicious. Martin & Susie went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and looked after. The scenery all around is gorgeous, and the views from the bedroom and breakfast area took my breath away. It's also a great base for day trips around the English countryside. This was easily one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. I'm already looking forward to visiting again and seeing these delightful hosts.

Martyn and Susie were so kind, offering great dinner recommendations and helpful tips, and they really went out of their way for us. Breakfast each morning was delicious, served in a beautiful room overlooking their garden. Wooden Cabbage has breathtaking views and a gorgeous setting, and the hosts made the stay feel personal and special. We were sad to leave their heavenly home and can't wait to come back.

The Blue Room was spacious and very clean, with its own bath and shower room. We spent four fantastic days at Wooden Cabbage House, with Susie and Martyn as our hosts. They gave us helpful ideas for places to visit, then left us to enjoy our privacy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and came with lots of homemade things we wanted to buy and take home, though they declined. Everything was served with lovely silverware. They also take direct bookings instead of using third-party agents. We'll have to return sooner rather than later, and I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

The garden was Chelsea standard, and the views were spectacular. Inside, the house had lovely plants and lots of interesting pictures and objects. The hosts were hospitable, interesting and interested, and breakfast was excellent. The only thing to grumble about is that there was nothing to grumble about. Very special, thanks.
