Paul gave us useful advice on getting around York, and we really appreciated it. The place was clean and cozy, and very close to the city centre. It’s 5 mins to the riverside walkway, which takes about 20 mins to reach the city. Our stay was very pleasant. Thanks again.

The bedroom suited what I needed, with single beds. It was clean, though the decor was dated, and the fan only worked when the main light was on. The location was really great. Breakfast was a standard BB offering, and the staff were pleasant and helpful when I checked in late.

The location was good and the bed comfortable. I paid a cheap price for a standard room, and would definitely stay again. The person who greeted me at the desk was fantastic and explained everything I needed. Since they weren’t fully booked for the night, he moved me to a better room.

We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it. It’s a lovely little b&b, fairly close to York centre and near bus stops that take you straight in. The owner was really helpful and gave us plenty of information about york. Our room and the good sized bathroom were both clean and comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast had cereals, fruit, Granola and yogurt as well as a cooked option. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
