York’s restaurants, pubs and tourist sights were all an easy walk away, so we could leave the car parked and wander the streets. We stayed three nights and were glad to have a parking space outside the house. The one-bedroom property is a great size for a couple and is very well appointed and decorated. There’s also a fold-down bed in the lounge that’s cleverly tucked away and doesn’t take up space, so it could work for a family or two couples. I had no real complaints, though a cafetiere would have been nice and I thought the vending machine at the bottom of the stairs was a bit naff. It’s reasonably priced, and I’d happily book again on my next visit to York.

We spent five nights here and already miss York. The house felt homely, was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Our two boys loved the toys and books, and it’s family friendly. You feel part of the local neighbourhood while still being very close to town, just a five-minute walk to the Shambles and York Minster, among other spots. Ben was friendly and helpful, and always replied promptly. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return. Highly recommended!

Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, with pubs, restaurants and York’s landmarks only a few steps away. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and clean throughout, with comfortable beds and lovely decor. Its location was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Ben was a pleasure to deal with while arranging our visit. The house was clean, tidy and well equipped, and the York attractions were all within walking distance. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to York.

We had a great stay, with a lovely garden area, good facilities, and a clean, tidy place in a perfect location. It was too hot to sit outside at times, and we were glad there was a fan. A higher-floor fan might have been better, but the heat was unusually extreme and the fan didn’t affect our trip. We also couldn’t get the lounge Bluetooth speaker to connect, though the bedroom one worked. That little niggle didn’t spoil anything. The apartment was excellently equipped with everything you’d need for a short stay. Thanks for having us.
