The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and all the utilities worked. There's no staff on site, but they respond quickly on Whatsapp. It's about five minutes from the train station and a ten-minute walk into the city centre through the lovely Museum Gardens. Really nice hotel, and we'll book again : )

The accommodation is compact but laid out well, with a useful kitchenette. They'd left milk and tea bags for us, which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and the heating and hot water worked well. It's an easy walk into town. Parking was awkward. We arrived late and the designated space we'd paid for wasn't available. We got up early and managed to squeeze in, though it was tight and we worried we might have blocked a flat's gate. Price is why I didn't give it five stars. The Christmas Market was absolutely packed, but it was lovely seeing the city so lively. York is a fabulous city, and we'll be back.

The apartment was clean and lovely, with good facilities, in a quiet area within walking distance of the city. On-site parking is pretty expensive, though there are other options nearby. They were especially helpful after I left my glasses behind and arranged to send them on to me.

Apartment 9 had everything needed for a lovely two-night stay. A mirror by a socket would help when using a hairdryer. The walk into town through Museum Gardens was nice, and messages and questions got quick replies.

The place is warm and cosy, with all the facilities you'd need apart from the hot water. If it had flowed continuously, I'd have rated the stay five stars. Most attractions are within walking distance, and we had a great time otherwise.
