The garden pods were cosy and warm, looked lovely, and had good music playing through the speaker. We booked one for four of us for my daughter's 18th birthday, and the food was delicious, especially the wood-fired pizzas. We all had a lovely evening and will definitely return at some point. This is feedback from when we dined there on 21st December, several months ago. I meant to post sooner, but wanted to make sure I shared how nice the occasion was. The service from Henry? (my mum thought his name might have been Harry?) made the night special. He supervised the garden area and couldn't do enough for us. He was helpful, efficient and organised, with a friendly, accommodating manner. We could tell he genuinely cares about customers and goes above and beyond for a good experience. He's a real asset to the team. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is brilliantly placed, about a 5-10 minute walk from The Shambles and the other nearby sights. We booked a small double, and while it was small, it was fine since we didn't spend much time in the room. It was lovely and clean, with a fab shower. Staff were friendly and informative. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, piping hot and delicious. I can't recommend The Churchill enough. We can't wait to return.

The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, and the hotel and room were immaculate. The beds were extremely comfortable. We did feel let down by the room's lack of original features, which reminded us of a Travel lodge room. The TV was mounted above the bed, so it was impossible to watch while lying there. Also, parking cost £18 a night, which we felt should have been included in the price.

The restaurant food was delicious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It got warm in the room, but they provided a fan, which made the temperature comfortable.

The hotel is right by the city centre, with a great atmosphere once you get through the narrow access gate. Rooms are small but neat and cosy, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is parking, though it costs an extra 19gbp a day.
