La Sagesse Hotel

After four visits to LaSagesse, we still think the staff are the friendliest and most accommodating we've come across. They make you feel like family surprisingly quickly, and that commitment to great service comes through at every level.

This is about the restaurant. I liked the view, and the servers were friendly. Their housemaid sauce is really good, too. The meal had some disappointments: the tuna was very dry, and the lemon chicken piccata came with only a small serving of vegetables. I was confused that we got cheap paper napkins while everyone else had the nice cloth ones. There was litter on the beach, and all the tables with the best views were reserved, maybe for hotel guests. The ketchup also seemed to be imported from the US.

We were very well looked after at this laid-back beach spot. It's a lovely place to get away from the crowds, and everything we ate at the restaurant was good, especially the evening specials. We'd definitely return.

You can hear the ocean rolling in at night from this rural resort, with no street or traffic noise around. The setting is peaceful and lush, right by the sea, and the grounds are kept up with workers around to help with what you need. The restaurant served the best food I had anywhere in Grenada. The waves even lulled us to sleep and made it feel like paradise. A boutique resort like this is exactly the kind of place you'd hope to find in a travel magazine. I'd highly recommend staying here on a future trip to Grenada.
