Our 10th anniversary and my wife’s birthday have been made special by the Grenada Sandals Club Level Team. Kamaya deserves a special mention, though the whole team have been professional, kind, and a pleasure to interact with. They’ve gone out of their way to help us celebrate, and the entire Grenada Sandals team has been a blessing to us both. That teamwork is why we keep returning to Sandals for our anniversary and birthdays. The food, entertainment, and service have all been excellent, and Sandals Grenada is an amazing vacation paradise. Our experience has exceeded expectations. Thank you to everyone!

Zoey, Akim, and Mikhail were a fantastic butler team throughout our 10 day stay. They’d leave little surprises for us when we got back to our room after a day in the sun, sometimes food, a hot bubble bath and champagne, or something else. They were on top of everything each day, and we can’t wait to return. The resort is beautiful, and the staff bring an energy that makes the whole place better. Every restaurant served fantastic food, with no bad meals. Spices had a rotating buffet menu, so we didn’t have the same thing each day. Sandal Grenada and the island of Grenada were simply amazing.

The resort was beautiful and clean, the entertainment was great, and we mostly had great service. Our butlers, Mikhail, Akim, and Zoey, were outstanding. They got to know us and went out of their way to mark our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. Chef Hensley at Kimonos was personable and entertaining and cooked a great meal. Vanester at Lejardinier was warm and personable, with probably the best restaurant service of our week. Jayson was great at checkout. Our favorite dinner restaurants were Butch's, Kimono's, and Le Jardinier, and for breakfast we liked Cucina Romana and Le Jardinier. Spices’ buffet was good too, although the open air restaurant meant a lot of insects around the fruit. Several service issues brought our rating down to 4. At club concierge check-in, the person was professional but not very warm or welcoming. We then waited nearly an hour for our butler to pick us up and take us to our room. That repeated what happened at Sandals Curacao last year, though we’d hoped for a better experience this time because we had butlers. At Neptune's, the check-in manager was unfriendly at both lunch and dinner, making us feel like an inconvenience. At lunch, two servers couldn’t tell me the cocktail of the day or a signature cocktail. They said they’d find out, but never came back, and I didn’t get a drink until halfway through the meal. At Le Jardinier, we waited an hour after dinner for dessert. At Cucina Romana, the manager was unwelcoming too. When we asked for the wine list, he launched into an explanation of the complimentary wines without being asked, then immediately told us another bottle would cost extra, even though the listed prices made that clear. Across four dinners when we ordered a non-complimentary bottle, the manager came to have us sign for it, then seemed to act as if we no longer existed once it was charged to our room. The gift shop didn’t have sunscreen above 15spf during our whole stay. When we asked if more was coming, staff just shrugged. That’s a basic need at a Caribbean resort, especially for travelers who pack light and expect to buy things there. We had a great time overall, but this will probably be our last Sandals visit, since the resorts don’t compete with other 5 star resorts for the price.

Can’t wait to come back to Sandals Grenada. Brent, Neron, and Kervin took care of everything we needed and made the stay amazing. Liston and Batia were a lot of fun at Kimono’s, and Mario and Jarvis made the best drinks at the South Seas pool. Sway was a great performer and helped us book our return trip. The staff were the absolute best.
