Hideaway Apartments Grenada

We found paradise. There are only 5 apartments, so you share the property with the other guests, and no one else passes through. It sits right on the ocean, and feels secluded, safe, and clean, with stunning views. You can easily reach the beach and ocean from the property, while still having lots of privacy. The new pool is a welcome addition, and taking a kayak out on the ocean was lovely. We spent 9 nights in both ocean-view apartments. The views from the main bedrooms and balconies were stunning, and the apartments had everything we needed. If something was missing, the manager, Nikita, would provide it, and communication with her was fantastic. WiFi worked well throughout the property, even by the water. A rented car can be parked securely in the enclosed lot, but a car isn’t necessary. The main road is just up the street, though we couldn’t hear it. The #1 bus stops right outside and goes to either Saint George’s or Grand Anse for EC$2,50 per person. On the return, get off at Capt. Harris Suites, a stop every driver knows. We also did laundry at the property for US$10, which was very convenient. We wondered if the photos might have been altered when we booked, but it really is just as shown.

We loved Hideaway in Grenada so much that we chose it as the place to get married. The garden and dock were lovely spots to unwind before or after exploring the islands, and communication was great throughout, with all our questions answered. We’d happily return.

Nikita met us when we arrived and patiently answered all our many questions. The rest of the staff were just as helpful, and the apartment was very clean. We stayed in a two-bedroom place looking over the pool and beach. Shops and local restaurants were an easy walk away, and the local bus to the cricket cost US $2 for two people. Definitely recommend it.

The new dock was a great place to watch the sunsets. We had a clean, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment facing the ocean, in a peaceful waterfront setting. The beach and restaurants were within walking distance. Highly recommend!
