Hotel Gipsy Village

The peaceful green scenery around the hotel was one of the highlights for me, such beautiful nature and a refreshing place to unwind. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I felt welcome and relaxed the whole stay, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. Thanks for such a warm, cozy atmosphere. I'd love to come back and will gladly recommend it.

The staircase was dirty enough that I needed slippers indoors, there were many cats on the terrace that triggered my girlfriend's allergies, aggressive dogs tried to get onto our terrace, and we found mice inside the house. No ID check was requested at check-in, which raised security concerns. My personal information was also shared in Facebook messages without proper identification. I was offered an extra night, then the administrator said the property was fully booked the next day. At breakfast my order was mixed up, and I got chicken instead of bacon. Nobody asked about allergies, which was potentially dangerous because I have one. The property also asked me to provide a Georgian bank account for direct payment to bypass Booking, saying it was “not their problem” if I didn't have one. The terrace smelled strongly of sewage, and they offered no solution. The nearby river mentioned in the property description had dried up. Several lights in the house were broken and never repaired. A wedding took place on part of the property without guests being told in advance. The spa tub didn't work during my stay; it was declared “ready” just five minutes before checkout, so I couldn't use it. The technician was rude. After my first complaint, the administrator ignored me and gave misleading information. The administrator had initially promised a refund, but later denied making that promise. Six witnesses were there, yet the owner now says nobody was present. The owner called me personally to refuse a refund and wouldn't cooperate with Booking.com. Both the owner and administrator discouraged me from seeking help through Booking. Update: I received no notification from booking.com, and it took two months to get a partial refund, less than 50%. Note for readers: the property is trying to lie in the comments and didn't want to refund me without external pressure from booking. UPD2: Some guests started hating my person in comments because of my review. It could happen to you as a guest too.

Lili was wonderfully helpful from when I booked right through to departure 🥲. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was amazing. We booked a tent and were really impressed with it. Such a beautiful place, more people should know about it!! ❤️❤️‍🔥

The tents stayed warm even in the cold September weather, and the small heated pool was comfortable for a swim at night. There's plenty of space to walk around, and the location is close to Tbilisi. The staff helped us promptly, and we felt right at home.
