Back2Me - Hostel

Easy to find, near attractions and public transport. The design is chic and modern, and the room had a comfortable bed. There’s a kitchen and somewhere to hang your clothes. The staff were helpful and always smiling, which is rare in Tbilisi haha. Perfect, stay here.

The awkward part for me was the lighting: it’s harsh white throughout, so the hostel feels cold and sterile. Also, the kitchen is open and right in the middle of the place, so food smells mix and linger. It made spending time indoors less comfortable. Still, Back2Me is a quiet, compact hostel in the heart of Batumi, a short walk from the beach and right in the charming old town. It’s a good fit if you want calm away from city noise. The layout is simple and functional, and staff showed me around before asking for payment. The woman who gave the tour was warm and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, if basic. Rooms have a small cabinet about a meter high, but it doesn’t lock, so valuables belong in the secure lockers by the entrance. The rooms also have very large street-level windows. With curtains open, people outside can see in, but closing them means losing the natural light. Upstairs there’s a small place to relax, reached by a short staircase. You take your shoes off, then there are beanbags, cushions, and a low table for hanging out, reading, or getting work done. Staff also switch off lights that aren’t needed, a small but considerate effort to save energy. It’s a calm, well-located place with friendly service and a laid-back feel. It’s compact but thought through. The lighting and ventilation are drawbacks, though it’s worth considering if quiet, cleanliness, and walkability matter most.

Right in the city center, with comfortable beds and clean facilities. The showers, toilets, and bathrooms were all well kept. The staff were very kind, especially the helpful woman at the desk. A pleasant, comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it.

The kitchen had everything I needed, and the whole hostel was comfortable, clean, and warm. The team at Back2Me were incredibly nice and made the place feel like a family. I loved staying there 💙.
