Era Palace Kvariati Hotel

The pool was large and clean, which was the one good thing. The room was in normal condition when I arrived, but the service was awful. They only cleaned every three days, and the staff weren’t friendly. It was the worst service I’ve had. I don’t recommend coming here.

The view is amazing, the pool is clean, and they provide beach towels. Water, coffee and tea came to the room each day, and the room was cleaned pretty well daily. Some of the staff were nice to talk to, though the service varied from day to day, and some people looked angry all the time. The rooms are clean but run down and clearly haven’t been updated in ages. There are no safes, and our room keys had to be reset every day because the system kept cancelling them. The hotel makes the area sound more secluded than it really is, and despite how it’s advertised, there is no private beach. A bungalow across the hotel played music as loud as possible until 12:30 AM every night. The balcony doors did nothing to block the noise, and it kept waking my infant and me. It felt like being in a club every night, and I couldn’t get enough rest. We came for a peaceful vacation and had to put up with this the whole time. I wouldn’t come back for a relaxing trip, especially with a baby. If you go out at night or sleep very deeply, it might suit you, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

There’s no service at this hotel. Sleeping outside would be better. They’ve given themselves four stars, but even zero stars would be too many.

We gave up on the loud room and moved to a nearby hotel for a small extra cost. The difference was night and day: much better service, quieter rooms, more amenities, and a far more enjoyable stay. The extra expense was worth it. This hotel was a huge disappointment. The room felt decades old, and the reservation lady in particular was rude. Music played late at night, after 23:00, but the worst noise came from the air conditioner. It was so loud it felt like trying to sleep on a plane. Even earplugs couldn’t block it, and the constant noise made it impossible to relax or rest. The whole experience fell far short of expectations and wasn’t worth the money.
