Bel Mare Hotel

The location was good, and the beach was an 8 minute walk away. The reception guys were polite and tried to sort out the problems, but the hotel itself badly needs renovation. I kept having to call reception every 10 minutes because nothing was brought unless I asked. The breakfast was poor, and the spoons were dirty. There was no toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, or electric kettle, and the street was so noisy I couldn’t sleep. We weren’t the only ones unhappy with the conditions, room service, and food. I didn’t realize hotels there could rate themselves, so don’t trust a 5 ⭐️ rating.

The room was okay, with clean bedding and towels, and both the AC and fridge worked. But the windows looked straight into those of the neighboring building, really close by. Breakfast was terrible. The bread seemed a day or two old, as did some sausages, and the khachapuri tasted stale enough that I had to add cheese. A boiled egg was the only decent option. There were flies on and around the food.

The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff gave excellent service. It’s in a great spot. Recommended!

Breakfast was tasty and kept being served later into the morning, which is handy if you like sleeping in. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. Everyone working there was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I left my keycard in the room twice, and they were very accommodating both times. I’d definitely stay again.
