It’s good value and just a five-minute walk from Cocchis Fountain. The bathroom is outside the room, though there are plenty of towels and hot water. The air conditioning only cools the room a little, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out. The bed also wasn’t very clean, and my friend said it made them itchy.

Even though it’s right in the center, the guesthouse was very peaceful. My flight was delayed and I arrived late, but the host still greeted me warmly and carefully explained everything. Breakfast was homemade and fresh, a really nice way to start the day. The hosts were so welcoming. Just remember that they take cash, so bring some.

The hosts’ hospitality made Old Kutaisi Guesthouse feel like home, and I had a great stay. My room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the price was very reasonable. You can walk to the old town and the main sights from here. I also rented a car right at the guesthouse, which was really convenient and went very smoothly. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Kutaisi.

We only spent one night here, but I’d happily stay longer next time. The host was very friendly, and the place felt authentic. Our room was clean, and the terrace, with its lovely view, was a real highlight.
