The room was spacious and spotless, and the shower had very hot water. From here, it’s about 1 km to the city center, a 15-minute drive to Gergeti church, or an hour on foot. We were greeted with tea and cookies, then later in the evening the host surprised us with red wine, black olives, and local cheese. A really welcoming place, and one I can recommend with confidence.

Waking up to Mount Kazbek was beautiful, and the food was delicious, including local honey or wine. The people hosting us were so friendly and welcoming. We’d love to come back!

We stayed just one night, and Nino and Sergo were really nice. Ask Sergo about horseback riding in the mountains. Amazing!
