Bazzar Boutique Hotel

Giorgi made a real difference to our stay. He helped with our luggage and was very polite and supportive at breakfast. The hotel's atmosphere was charming, and I liked the smooth, clean purple carpet in the room. The view over the pedestrian area and Orbeliani Square was beautiful, and the location is excellent. The Twin and King rooms were both quite small, with little space to open luggage comfortably. There was no mirror outside the bathroom, and very few electrical sockets. That was awkward because neither the coffee machine nor the boiler had an outlet nearby. There's no dedicated hotel parking either, so guests have to find a spot themselves and are responsible for any parking violations. The staff and location were great, but the room layout and amenities could be improved.

Anna at reception and the rest of the staff were especially friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. That's the biggest plus for me, and I'd definitely come back. The hotel is right in Old Tbilisi's pedestrian area, in a quiet part of the center where cars aren't allowed. Public transport is only a few steps away, and there's a large Carrefour nearby as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants. Breakfast is modest but tasty. The rooms are clean, well kept, and a reasonable size, and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere.

Noise from the hotel's air conditioning, not the unit in our room, made our second and third nights terrible. We complained, and they fixed it for the rest of our stay. That took my review from one star to four.

The “Bazaar Small” rooms don't have a window you can open, and that isn't mentioned in the booking description. That's one thing future guests should know. We had a fantastic stay otherwise. The hotel is close to the main attractions in the heart of the city, but set in a quiet area. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the crew were kind, attentive, and professional. A small issue with a door in our room was fixed almost immediately. Since we had an early checkout, they offered us a generous lunch box with delicious goodies. Breakfast was included in our stay, so it was already covered. We really appreciated that care and attention, and the hospitality overall.
