The bathroom was a mess: no shower curtain, just a shower head with no stand, and the toilet leaked. The door wouldn't stay shut unless you locked it. Getting around was awkward too, since Google Maps placed it poorly and you couldn't see it from the street. It's four floors with no lift, and the doors offered no soundproofing. Whenever someone opened a door in the stairwell, it sounded like someone was unlocking ours, and you could hear everything out there. The bed wasn't made properly either, with a single doona laid sideways across a king bed. I didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

We paid more than we should have for a stay that was noisy and uncomfortable. The room didn't feel clean, especially with hair in the linens, and the bed wasn't made properly because the linens were too small. There was mould in the shower that started coming off when I showered, and without a curtain, water went all over the bathroom. It took so long for the hot water to come through that I thought there wasn't any and took almost an entirely cold shower before it warmed up. The toilet leaked, and the only place to plug in the aircon was over my head while I was in bed. The place is behind the police station, which made it hard to find. Our taxi driver struggled too, and the listed phone number was wrong. I don't mind basic amenities, but all these things together made the stay unpleasant.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Our room had enough space and was clean, though the TV didn't work, the tub had cracks, and there was no fridge. It was still bearable. Breakfast was a full spread with cold cuts, bread, eggs, coffee, and tea. Dinner was tasty too, rice with three viand dishes, and the portions were generous. All in all, good value.
