Blue Balcony Apartments

The welcome felt so warm and generous. We were greeted with Georgian wine, nuts, and dates. We don’t drink, but really appreciated the thought and lovely presentation. The staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive, and made us feel at home. Our stay at Blue Balcony Hotel in Tbilisi was calm and relaxing, with spotless, comfortable rooms and a genuine atmosphere. It’s also in an excellent spot, convenient for exploring and close to the main attractions. I highly recommend Blue Balcony Hotel for the location, the lovely staff, and the Georgian hospitality! 💙🇬🇪

We stayed in the attic terrace room. The sloped roof made it a bit short, but the view from the terrace was great. Staff brought our luggage up the stairs whenever they noticed us moving things, and they were friendly, polite, and helpful. They also replenished the water, bath items, coffee, and tea each day, which we appreciated. The old house has been remodeled into a beautifully decorated boutique hotel. It’s in a great location near the city centre, with lots of shops nearby.

The historic house is full of charm, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed, with very comfortable beds. The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, so it’s easy to explore Tbilisi on foot without needing transport. I had a wonderful stay at Blue Balcony Hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and always made sure everything was perfect. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tbilisi!

The staff were excellent and clearly tried hard to help us. They even brought earplugs, probably because they know how noisy it gets. But sleeping was impossible: sound came from other rooms, which are close together with wooden floors, and from the neighborhood too. I couldn’t sleep at all on two of the three nights. The hotel also didn’t look like the listing on Booking. The view was clearly different, and the balcony was small and only available to two rooms. It didn’t feel luxurious or boutique to me. I wouldn’t recommend it, even with the excellent service, because being able to sleep is basic.
