Castor & Pollux Hotel

The breakfast terrace and lobby have a lovely view, and you can take a morning walk through the hilly neighborhood. The room was clean, and the housekeeper was a nice lady. Usually it was quiet, though groups coming back around midnight made a lot of noise on the stairs. The breakfast was just ordinary and didn’t feel right for a four-star hotel. There was no iron in the room, even though it was listed as an available item. Getting there on foot means a 20-minute uphill walk unless you take a taxi. Reception staff seemed unhappy with their jobs, never smiled, and acted unprofessionally and without much discipline. We weren’t happy with our hotel choice.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, with lovely views. Luka, the hotel manager, was very polite and cooperative, and kept making sure guests felt comfortable and looked after. The hotel provides a high level of service and comfort. I’d gladly visit again. ⭐

The location is great, and the terrace view is terrific, as long as you don’t look down at the garbage beside the hotel. The mattress felt like it came from the Soviet era, with iron springs. After two days my back was hurting, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was so basic it didn’t feel like a four-star hotel. The hotel seems quite new, but the bathroom tiling and plumbing work was terrible. I don’t understand how the owner could accept that sort of construction quality in the 2020s. When I arrived, the front desk gave me a key for the room, but all the locks use magnetic keys. That pretty much sums up the quality of the installations and staff.

We had a great stay. Nina was kind, and Svetlana got us a lovely room with a city view. Breakfast was awesome too. Highly recommended.♥️❤️
