Coral Boutique Hotel

We checked in on 9/7/2022 with a reservation for two single beds, but the room’s air conditioning was far too hot. I called reception about it, and they said no other room was available and told us to check again the next day. When I did, they said the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. I asked for my money back, but they said the day’s rate had already started and they would give us nothing. NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. Don’t let the price fool you.

The rooms are clean and quite large compared with other hotels, and the hotel is very nice. Breakfast is decent. You can ask for a kosher breakfast, just remember to tell the staff when booking. It seems to be quite popular with Israelis. The main downside is the distance from the city center and the Jewish canter: 40 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by car, with a taxi costing about 5 lari. The Clark representative staff deserve an extra star for being very kind and helpful.

The room was small but cosy, with a sweet balcony, seating, and an ashtray. The washroom was clean and nice, and the heating worked great. There’s a lovely little garden seating area with a great ambience. It’s a good place to stay, though it didn’t wow me. The location is lovely. A Spar grocery shop is just around the corner, and the street behind the hotel has branded shops and lots of places to eat. Two Indian restaurants are nearby and delivered to the hotel room. The local theatre and river are within walking distance. A few small things brought my rating down from the 4 star rating. Tiny ants came into the room at night, apparently from a hole in one of the bathroom tiles where they were living. Vegetarian choices at breakfast are very limited. Breakfast isn’t a buffet, though it is unlimited.

We had plenty of space in our room, plus a lovely little balcony to sit on, and the price was very reasonable. The staff were kind and professional, and anything we asked for at reception arrived within minutes. Kate always greeted us with a smile and was ready to help. Thanks so much for everything!
