The location is good, the facilities are decent, and there are private rooms. I had several problems with the admin, so I brought them to the owner, Nugo, and most of them got resolved. My main concern was the way the admin treated people. More than once, I felt discriminated against as a tenant, and I saw similar things happen to other guests. At one point, the admin told everyone they could no longer wash their underwear or socks in the machine. Fortunately, I guess the owner found out and put a stop to it.

The rooms and beds were full of insects and bedbugs, which can make people sick. I also didn't feel there was security, and the receptionist and manager didn't seem to care about that. They treat guests poorly, whether they're staying a few days or a few months, and seem to care only about money. They don't treat women and girls well at this hostel either. Several Australians and other guests left.

If you want to save a few bucks on accommodation, this place will do. Just don't expect too much for what you pay, and look elsewhere if your standards are higher.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hostel, better than what I've had in most hotels too. It's a fantastic place in central Yerevan. Highly recommended.

It was clean and worked really well for me as a solo traveler. I'd recommend it if you're on your own too, but I don't think it's a good fit for couples.
