The renovated hotel is lovely, and the staff are wonderful. The work isn't quite finished yet, but they've done a great job so far. Rooms have one or two separate bedrooms away from the main room, which works well for friends or families wanting some privacy. The neighborhood isn't the prettiest, though buses and the metro are close, and there are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was great, too.

The staff are great and the hotel is nice, but the location makes it noisy. I had a hard time sleeping my first night. I think you may get used to it, especially after a full day of sightseeing.

It's outside the Old City, but a Bolt ride makes getting around easy. Check-in was simple, and the rooms are large, with a front desk and bellman. Breakfast is a full meal each day, served in the room, and there's water and coffee there too. The decor feels a little dated, and the walls could use a cleaning or a fresh coat of paint. The lobby has a nice old-world look, but the top-floor restaurant with its beautiful Tbilisi views is gone, as is the lobby bar. The hotel seems to be declining, and the TV has no HDMI connection.

The rooms are spacious and breakfast was nice. Check-in and check-out in the middle of the night, around 3 or 4 a.m., were difficult. Our Georgian friends couldn't help because the receptionist didn't speak Georgian, and his English wasn't very good either, so it took longer than expected. Aside from that, I'd recommend the place.

There's a quiet atmosphere, large rooms and a very good location, with everything close by. The staff are respectful and responsible, and both the food and breakfast are very good. Prices are great, too. Highly recommend.
