Guest House On Amilakhvari

The place had its own courtyard and off-street parking, and inside we found much more than we expected: a large shared studio, a roomy fridge, and a wide choice of kitchen gear. There was even fruit and wine on the table as a New Year’s surprise, from the owner who had prepared it himself. The bedroom was spacious and cozy, with a very comfortable bed, clean linens, and a spotless bathroom stocked with everything we needed. We were newlyweds spending New Year’s Eve in Tbilisi, and this guesthouse was the first Booking.com result we found. We booked after talking with the friendly hostess, and everything went perfectly. When we arrived, our hosts Kristina and Artem welcomed us, and by then they felt like good friends. If you’re visiting Tbilisi, you should definitely stay at Amilakhvari Guesthouse!

The hosts made us feel so welcome and cared for that it was impossible to feel like a stranger. The house has large, clean rooms, modern interiors, mountain views, and fresh air. We stayed for a week and were absolutely delighted. Next time we’re in Georgia, we’ll stay here again. I highly recommend it!

It was quiet and peaceful, just right after a long day of exploring. The owner was friendly and ready to tell us anything we needed. We did have trouble finding the place at first.
